GIGI GALLI

Self-taught contemporary artist based in Milan, I draw inspiration from nature to create unique works of art. My paintings often incorporate pure pigments blended with sand, earth, and an acrylic base, resulting in textured, organic compositions. My technique leans heavily on action painting, incorporating dynamic gestures like whipping, graffiti engraving, and layering with tools such as mason's trowels, stems, nails, and occasionally brushes. Beyond painting, I am passionate about working with metal, wood, cement, and recycled materials, exploring their raw beauty to craft distinctive, multidimensional pieces.
